Description
In anticipation of a contract award, we are looking for candidates with experience supporting Federal Government contracting offices, either as former 1102 civilian/military, or as contractor support. This position will support the contracting officers , contract specialists, and program offices onsite in Washington, DC on the complete range of procurement-related tasks for both pre and post-award activities.  They will develop the necessary file documentation utilizing applicable Federal regulations and local policy.

Hiring Timeframe: Upcoming

Work Location:  This position will be onsite in Washington, DC. Seventh Sense will support your commute by contributing over $1,500 annually to your Transportation FSA. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide mid-level expertise and knowledge concerning acquisitions in various stages of the procurement process (i.e. acquisition planning, market research/analysis, preparation of solicitations/Request for Proposals (RFP) and Request for Quotes (RFQ), review of information provided for evaluation, review Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO) and Performance Work Statements (PWS) developed)
  • Prepares or reviews pre-procurement packages as well as maintains work items and provides effectively the status of all contractual actions.
  • Utilize knowledge to select and contribute to assistance of the administration of various contract mechanisms such as IDIQs, BPAs, contracts, task, delivery and call orders, and purchase orders etc.
  • Able to utilize different contract types such as Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Reimbursable, LH, T&M etc. for actions.
  • Understand cost/price analysis and ability to assist with it, preparation of contract modifications, contract termination/default actions, and contract closeout (if needed)
  • With little to some guidance, personnel must be able to successfully assist with carrying out pre-determined and recurring contract administration duties
  • Handles complex problems through resolution, assist with validation of data, completes tasks needed to successfully assist with advertising, soliciting, constructing, awarding, and administering contractual actions


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 24 semester hours in the areas of business/finance
  • 5+ years of Federal government 1102-type experience
  • Be able to gain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Familiar with researching in and applying standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Federal Acquisition Regulation


Skills:

  • Comfortable working with files on a SharePoint Site
  • Proficient and confidence working with Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint for document preparation and briefings
  • Proficient with Google Workspace Products such as Calendar, Sheets, Chat, G-mail, Docs, Slides, Drive, Meets etc. and possess strong internet research skills.
  • Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs), and orders (task, delivery, call and purchase)
  • Experience in performing cost and/or price analysis is a plus
  • Actual experience working within a virtual team using video communications similar to MS Teams
  • FAC-C Level II, DAWIA Level II in Contracting or the equivalent is highly desired
